Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma took everyone by surprise when they tied the knot in a private ceremony in Italy last month. The couple announced their wedding in a joint statement that read, “Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share this wonderful news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans and well-wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey.”
The couple honeymooned in Finland before returning to the country to host their wedding receptions. Virat and his family hosted a reception in Delhi, whereas Anushka invited all her industry friends for the Mumbai reception.
A day after the Mumbai reception, the newly-weds left for South Africa, where Virat will be playing a series of games till February. Anushka has accompanied husband Virat to Cape Town, where the two are having a great time. The couple is making the most of their time and has been clicked shopping in Cape Town. Shikhar Dhawan’s wife Aesha Dhawan also posted a series of photos with Virat and Anushka as the couples went sight-seeing around Cape Town.

the difference between going to northern italy to get married and then it looked like some alps region for honeymoon is that they were able to go around in peace without being mobbed. the thing is, south africa has a very high indian population and all of them follow bollywood, and in some places the indians are REALLY highly concentrated so they don't have the anonymity and are easily recognized. I can't imagine what they wanted to go shopping in Aldo for though….I mean if she wanted another expensive handbag you can easily order it online.
